Zaha Hadid Unveiled The Stadium Project For The Summer Olympics In Tokyo In 2020
Company Hadid won the 2012 competition for the reconstruction of outdated national stadium "Kasumigaoka", which hosted the Olympic Games in 1964. After the reconstruction of the old stadium to be transformed into a grand three-tier structure with a retractable roof, which seats 80,000 people. The stadium will be the United pedestrian overpass to the neighboring district of the Japanese capital, and its perimeter can enjoy views of the city. Already in 2019, the stadium is planned to test during the Rugby World Cup.
